Automotive hoses are assembled in three parts: chassis, engine and body, and are divided into seven systems: oil delivery, gas delivery, drive, control, brake, cooling and air conditioning, such as water delivery hoses, brake hoses, fuel hoses, heater hoses , radiator tubes, vacuum hoses, air conditioner hoses, water tank tubes (special-shaped tubes), power steering tubes, and special-shaped rubber hoses to complete power transmission and the transportation of fuel, water, and gas. Each car needs about 70m rubber hose.
1 Classification of rubber hoses for automobiles
(1) HOSE CONNECTION
Including low-pressure hose, high-pressure hose and oil-resistant hose etc. According to different pressure, different transfer medium, the innner rubber and reinforcement are different.
(2) Low-pressure hoses (radiator connection hoses, brake air release hoses).
The mechanical properties of the low-pressure hose are not highly required. When selecting and matching, mainly check its appearance and size. The appearance should be free of delamination, plastic holes, blisters, wrinkles, cracks, dents, distortions, and uneven wall thickness. If necessary, heat aging test of radiator connecting hose can be done.
(3) High-pressure hoses (brake system, hydraulic system connection hose):
The reinforcement layer of the high-pressure hose adopts braided rubber hose and wound rubber hose. It is required that the high-pressure hose has good pressure resistance, oil resistance, and flex resistance.
(4) Oil-resistant hoses (gasoline, diesel, lubricating oil hoses).
The oil-resistant hose has good oil resistance and can be used for a long time under working pressure.
