In order to adapt to the physical and chemical conditions of various industries, industrial hoses usually have very strict standards for the chemical raw materials and processes of the inner and outer colloids. According to the classification of transfer medium, mainly including:

1. Water hose. Used in irrigation, gardening, construction, fire protection, equipment and tanker cleaning, agricultural fertilizers, manure, industrial sewage drainage, etc.

2. Hot water and steam hoses. It is used for cooling water of refrigeration equipment, cold and hot water of engines, food processing, especially hot water and saturated steam of dairy plants. The inner rubber material is mostly EPDM.

3. Beverage food hose. Used in non-fat products such as milk, carbonated, orange juice, beer, animal and vegetable oils, drinking water, etc. The inner rubber material is mostly NR or synthetic rubber. Usually food grade FDA, DVGWA grade, KTW or CE standard qualification certification is required.

4. Air hose. Used in compressors, pneumatics, mining, construction and more. The inner rubber material is mostly NBR,  SBR, EPDM . Usually there are strict requirements on the applicable pressure. Of course, there are other air hose, such as the PVC air hose. If you would like to know which is better of the PVC and rubber, please check the other article

5. Welded hose. For gas welding, cutting, etc. The inner rubber material is mostly NBR or synthetic rubber, and the outer rubber is usually made of red, blue, yellow, etc. to show the special gas.

6. Vent hose. It is used for hot gas, dust mist, smoke, chemical gas emission, etc. The inner rubber is mostly made of thermoplastic materials and PVC. Usually the tube body has a telescoping design.

7. Material suction hose. It is used for fluid transportation of gas, mist, powder, granule, fiber, gravel, cement, fertilizer, coal dust, quicksand, concrete, gypsum, sand, slurry and other solid particles. The inner rubber materials are mostly NR, NBR, SBR, PU, BR and CR. Usually the outer rubber has higher wear resistance.

8. Oil hose. For fuel, diesel, kerosene, petroleum, etc. The inner rubber materials are mostly NBR, PVC compound and SBR. Usually there is a conductive steel wire between the inner and outer rubber to prevent sparks.

9. Chemical hose. For acid, chemical solution, etc. The inner rubber material is mostly EPDM. Often this type requires custom materials and design solutions.
